From the mid-April, 2016, a group of Banah artisans from Kon Rbàng Village, Vinh Quang Commune, Kon Tum City, Kon Tum Province will be coming to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to repair the Banah communal house constructed at the Museum. After a number of years the house has been displayed at the Museum for visitors to discover about the Banah culture, its stairs and wooden floor have been degraded. As scheduled, the artisans will make new stairs and replace the old wooden floor with a new one. This activity shows the VME's responsibility in the work of preserving ethnic cultural heritage, and at the same time asserts the Museum's respect to the cultural bearers.
