The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is completing the final preparation for a series of special programs to serve visitors on the occasion of the New Year's Holiday in 2016, the Year of the Monkey.
The program Discovering the Việt's Tết will begin at 9:00 am on January 30th, 2016 with the participation of pupils from some primary schools and secondary schools in Hanoi. They will discover the Việt's Tết through a number of traditional activities and experience folk games.
Since February 11th, 2016, the VME will be opening to welcome visitors to visit the Museum and enjoy their New Year's holiday. Some performances will be introduced to the public on this occasion.
On two days, February 13th and 14th, 2016, the VME will organize the program Enjoying the Year of the Monkey. Together with the activities that aim to introduce about Vietnam's traditional New Year festival, the program will bring visitors through the discovering of cultural features of the land and the people of Kon Tum Province, a province in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, via art performances, traditional cuisines, and folk games.
Let's come to the VME this spring to enjoy the taste of a new springtime!
