In the first three months of 2016, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology has recieved 85 students as museum interns. They are from the Hanoi University of Culture, the University of Languages and International Studies (VietnamNationalUniversity), the Hanoi University of Industry, the HanoiMetropolitanUniversity, the Academy of Journalism and Communication, the National Institute of Education Management, and the NationalCollege for Education. Almost all the interns participated in the work at the out-door exhibition and the educational and communication activities.
During their 2 to 3-month internship, the students had a chance to experience museum’s work, enhance their understanding about ethnic cultures, and improve language competence. They also had opportunity to practise communication skills to behave in a cultural environment and to serve the public. At the end of the internship, students’ reports about the results gained during their internship were done based on the instruction of the Museum’s staff.
